Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These terms apply to your use of ChoreQuest and CareVault (together, "our apps"), provided by Chore Quest ("we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Using our apps
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- ChoreQuest can be used by anyone who wants a gamified way to manage chores and routines — on your own, or linked to a parent, carer, or accountability partner ("Strategist") who can assign and approve tasks for your ("Warrior") account. Where a Warrior account belongs to a child, the linked Strategist is responsible for that account's use.
- CareVault is intended for use by a carer, support worker, or family member managing care-related paperwork for someone in their care.
- You're responsible for keeping your account PIN confidential.
- You agree not to use our apps for anything unlawful, or to upload content that isn't yours to share (for example, a document you don't have the right to process).
Content you provide
You keep ownership of any content you upload (photos, documents, task descriptions). By uploading it, you give us permission to store and process it solely to provide the app's functionality to you — for example, generating a care-record PDF or displaying a proof-of-completion photo.
CareVault-generated documents
CareVault helps you produce a completed document from a template you provide, using automated extraction to identify its fields. You're responsible for checking a completed record is accurate before it's sent, since the automated extraction and prefill process is a convenience, not a guarantee of correctness for your specific document.
Availability
We aim to keep our apps available and working reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the service down temporarily for maintenance or updates.
No warranty
Our apps are provided "as is." While we take reasonable care in how we build and run them, we don't provide any warranty that they'll be error-free or fit for a particular purpose beyond their ordinary described use.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Chore Quest isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our apps. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that can't legally be limited or excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Ending your account
You can stop using our apps and ask us to delete your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
